Temperature requirements for transport

Dear,

Is it possible in SAP to add a special temperature requirements for a material for transportation ?

I know that it's possible to add storage conditions .. but I need to find an automatized solution also for transportation, so that it would be visible for the carrier, etc.

Transportation group would be another option - material master based, should be included on the tender to the carrier (have not verified), this can make the requirement visible to the carrier. Along with Timothy's suggestion about resources.

To make the requirement visible to the carrier we just changed our Means of Transport to include the temperature requirement in the description. We are using the Collaboration Portal to tender and the MoT description shows in the portal.

Temperature data can be maintained in the Resource master data. You can set incompatibilities to ensure that certain products are transported only in temperature controlled resources.
