System error: import parameter ACTIVITY is initial

Hi Team,

Advance shipping and receiving functionality is activated in the TM system. Once the functionality is activated the customer returns delivery is getting stuck in SMQ2.

System error: import parameter ACTIVITY is initial

Message no. /SCDL/STM001.

upon debugging we got only some information such as IV_activity getting initial

in status profile /SCWM/INB_PRD_RETRURNS.

Could you please help me with your inputs if I am missing any configuration.

as per SAP note 2952651

ASR is not supported for customer retuens delivery.

How did you activate ASR for customer retrun delivery?

Do you see ASR details in OBD created ?

Thank you very much for update. So you mean to say we cannot user ASR for customer returns, could you please let me know if any standard process for customer returns with TM planning. It will be really helpful

Hello

Customer returns is not supported with ASR.

You need to setup non-ASR process for customer returns order, so basically you need to setup non-ASR shipping point and integrate TM with EWM with Transportation unit concept.

This is what it is as the moment. We have certian limitations with ASR that you need to stick with.

Hi Aslam,

Thanks once again for updating. We are checking with SAP and also we are not using TU and it will be big process just to use for customer returns.

We are just creating FO and closing once truck arrives in our premises and put away doing individually from warehouse point of view.

Note: Though we don't have any linkage between FO & EWM delivery we are proceeding with above process for now

Hi Aslam,

we got into another issue, we are getting another issue of TU assignment we are not at all using TM. tried couple of things but no use. if you can through some light it would be really helpful.
