System could not determine source storage bin during Releasing Wave

Hello!

Embedded EWM, S/4 HANA 1909.

I know, this error has been discussed many times, but I couldn't find the answer. Situation is following: I use wave management for outbound delivery. I have the wave with 4 position. It needs 30 pieces by product 91 and 30 pieces by product 101 in general.

Then I release wave (Release Withdrawal). Next I have the log:

So, system finds the stock for the first Wave Position in storage bin 0080-01-01B, and for the second in storage bin 0080-01-01C. There are 10 pieces of product 91 in storage bin 0080-01-01B and 10 pieces of product 101 in storage bin 0080-01-01C before release the wave. The system then tries to find the product in the same places instead of searching in others.

But I have stock elsewhere:

I really cant understand, why it was happen.

I would be pleasure for a help.

Hi Viktoriya,

it could be different reasons

• bin can be locked (should be in logs in this case)
• different stock type
• reference to other document in the stock

and so on.

You can try to check it directly from the delivery with Ctrl+F1 to create WT for delivery, there you see "Stock can be removed" and "Other stock".

Or go with debugger, to see how system selects quants.
