Synchronization of Planning Calendar

Hello Experts,

Do the planning calendars needed to be synced in APO?

I extended a validity of planning calendar of a certain plant via tcode MD26.

Do I need to sync it in APO?

If yes, please provide the steps.

Hi Jajah,

Yes you need to keep the calendars in both ECC and APO in sync for correct planning results.

Hi Alok, Thanks for your response.

However, the document is for factory calendar.

Are they the same?

I mean, I extended the planning calendar up to year 2020  for  one plant using Md26 tcode.

But checking the factory calendar for that plant, the validity in SCAL is up to 2025.

Can you please explain further?

Hi Jajah

No you don´t have do anything on APO side.

You have just or only extended your planning calendar which is mainly getting used in ECC system.

In APO, we transfer only factory calendar from ECC. So in case you have done any changes with only planning calendar you don´t require to do anything.
