supplier initiated change on existing purchase order

hello gurus,

Do we have process to initiate a purchase order change from the ariba network, where supplier can initiate the change like the requester?  When supplier realized if there is delivery date change or price etc, do supplier has ability to initiate the change which send to buyer for approve or accept?

so supplier can send order confirmations, you can send multiple ones even if you initially have confirmed the original PO in first place - you can send another one as a supplier

There is a possibility to enable on Buyer/Procurement side Supply Chain monitor that routes all order confirmations with deviations for approval of procurement/buyer/planning team.

second option if you don't use supply chain monitor on Network is to catch these order confirmations in your ERP system and take an action there.

This will not be legal, as Supplier can change the price and quantity in the purchase order created by customer.

what you mean its not legal? the functionality asking supplier initiate change which will be approve by procurement team. This is very general process in procurement organization
