HI Team,
Can we integrate SAP successfactors with work manager application.
Thanks,
Sandeep Aluri.
Request clarification before answering.
Sandeep,
Hello. This could be a cool application wherein you would integrate the functionalities of HR versus the Functionalities of Workorder.
In theory, they serve different applications but awesome if you want to integrate it.
If an integration is needed then they both have access to the main SAP ERP master data.
Work Manager as well as Success Factors have access to this.
If you want SuccessFactors to show an employees current workorder assign to them then the integration on the SuccessFactors may be needed to show their current work load as pre-determined by their work schedule (i.e. SuccessFactor can use the employee or User that has a Work Manager status of On-Route, In-Process, Onsite and other).
I am sure there could be some configuration that can be done from the backend and SuccessFactor front to see that their current employee is actually working. The assumption here is that the customer/user has both access to SuccesFactors and Work Manager.
From Work Manager use case of measuring data on plant and materials, if the Work Manager app may need to show who is on vacation or who are actually attending training and cannot do work then integration tied to MRS may be needed (known in SAP sometimes as Time Allocation or Non-Productive Work) and embed this in Work Manager as a new object and merged in the actual Workorder object (This way the Workorder Object Calendar functionality can be extended to show who may be out of office to some degree). The customer can also utilize Work Manager's Transport/trunk (i.e. delivery) functionality.
At the end of the day, configuration or customization may be needed on the Work Manager Mobile ERP Add-On front wherein a customization team/partner or SAP can embed that knowledge so that users on Work Manager can see if the operation can be perform or not.
At the end of the day, some integration team (SAP / Third Party) needs to analyze the workflow and a meeting with the SAP Service team is warranted on initial get together to merge the business flow that is required.
