Subcontracting considering in-house production capacity as constraint in PP/DS

Hi,

Now I have a situation like below;

We have a demand as 100 pc for a particuler week, and only 70 pc can be produced considering the in-house production capacity. Here what I expect is that system automatically creates both planned order for 70 pc as in-house production and purchase requisition for 30 pc as subcontracting.

Is that possible in PP/DS?

I know SNP CTM can do this, but now we have only PP/DS.

Hello,

You can product in In-bound Quota arrangements in PPDS to determine the Source of Supply selection as inhouse as well as external.

However it is not possible on the basis of capacity, you can do that fix ration like 30 In-house and 30 subcontracting.

or use SAP_REM_001 heuristic, which distributes the orders among the different sources.
