Hi all,

how will a stock transfer work, when you have two EWM warehouses assigned to same plant, with each two separate storage locations, used environment will be S/4HANA with embedded EWM.

Possible to trigger stock transfer from both whses without using IM functionality (like STO) ?

Hi Micael,

Do you mean a stock transfer triggered by a stock transfer order?

Create a stock transfer order (ME21N, type NB). Create subsequent document (VL10D, outbound delivery of the type NL). Distribute the delivery to EWM, pick and post. Then you have stock in transit in ERP.

Create an inbound delivery for the stock transfer order and distribute to EWM. Post GR. This posts from stock in transit into your destination warehouse.

If you mean just to move stock from one storage location to another without MM documents, I don't think you can do it in EWM directly if you have two warehouse numbers. If you have a single warehouse number mapped to several storage locations, it's pretty simple: you can just hard-map one storage type to one storage location. So moving stock from bin-to-bin will result in a 411 / 311 movement in ERP.
