Hello,
I have a scenario in which stock is transferred from EWM Warehouse A to EWM Warehouse B (2 different plants) triggered by a stock transport order.
-> The Material was picked and Goods Issue was posted in the sending Warehouse
-> The receiving warehouse rejected the Inbound Delivery
The material is now stuck in transit in the receiving plant. Reversal of the GI and Picking is not possible in Warehouse A since it was shipped together with other outbound deliveries.
The material can be scrapped and is no longer required. How do I get rid of the stock in transit and close the position in the STO?
Thanks and best regards,
Jonas

In the end, the solution was the creation of a new inbound delivery via VL31N for that STO and regularly completing GR and Putaway. Afterwards the stock was scrapped using /SCWM/ADGI.

Agree this is the only way. You need to create new inbound delivery and complete GR otherwise your STO will never be closed properly.
If you have done partial goods receipt, you will need to re-trigger the inbound delivery with Z program as per SAP note. Let me know if you need SAP note #.
How the STO can close, if intended material and Qty not received?
You need to manually close the STO.

The stock in transit is only an IM stock and use the adjustment tcode is ECC.
On GI, the stock falls under receiving plant and adjustment also posted under it
