Stock removal strategy - Bin destination

ss1.pngHi all,

Currently I am busy with configuring 2 step picking and it's working (in combination with waves and different WPT's etc.). There is still one step I cannot get my mind into it. How is the destination being determined? I didn't configured any process storage contrl steps (or external steps), PACI or whatsoever configured. But still SAP determined a storage type + bin.. I've attached a screenshort where you can see this.

I hope someone can explain me this or know where to get this information.

Hi Juergen,

Thanks for your respond. It's true what you say, but this will only determine the destination st.type + st. bin for the first step of the 2-step picking process. For the second step the WPT should pick the goods from the dest. st.type + bin from the first WPT determination. And my question is, with the second step of the process and the use of the second WPT, how does SAP determine that specific destination location?

I've attached the first and second WPT and some other helpful information, hope you can give some clarification. Thanks in advance!results.jpgproduct1a.jpgproduct1.jpgdefsttypesequence2.jpgdefsttypesequence1.jpgsssequence.jpgwpt-determination.jpgwpts2.jpgwpts.jpg

Hi,

usually the interim bin simply comes from the WPT used for the first step. This should have a destination storage type and bin.
