Stock posting to unrestricted without creating warehouse task

Hello expert,

This is regarding EWM inspection type 17*.

When we post stock from quality to unrestricted (in EWM monitor from Q4 to F2), system creates WH task in background which user has to process to complete the flow.

User don't like to process WH task for each quality posting to unrestricted. So requesting to disable this function. Is this possible in QM-EWM for 17* inspection to disable WH task creation? Stock still should be posted to unrestricted (F2 type).

Reply appreciated.

Eric!!!

Hi Eric, it depends on your QM Customizing, followup WT is not a must.

try to change Int.Action to empty value.

Sorry, I have it now only on German

P.S. it could help if you press F1 on this field, there is some information about system behaviour.

Hi Eric,

you might be interested in looking at SAP's documentation.

There is SAP note for each EWM release. The notes have an attachment "integration guide", where you will find all you typically need to set up the Q process with EWM, e.g. https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/0002775887

Regards

Andreas

yes it is possible thru the logistical follow up action in customizing, somewhere under EWM->cross process ->quality off the top of my head

are you talking about this checkbox? If I remove this checkbox from config then system not creating WH task but same time not posting stock to unrestricted/ blocked area as well. Moment I select this checkbox, it does post stock from quality to unrestricted/ blocked but create WH task too.

Help appreciated...Eric!!!

Another option I see here is selecting x at below config and implementing BAdI, but trying to avoid any development if possible with standard config..

no need for badi, or development. You can leave that checkbox selected and one of those options beside the 'x' will do the trick. It's description is really straightforward, something like 'only transfer posting'
