Hello Guru's,
Situation is as below
1. Stock at Plant 2000 ( ATD receipts 2000)
2. Demand
@ Plant – Sales order – 1000 on Jan 1 2017
Forecast – 1000 on Jan 1 2017
Distribution Demand Planned – 5000 on Jan 1 2017
Deployment config @ Source Location ( Plant)
Push – P
Fair share – A
Pull/Push Horizon – 14 days
Nothing else checked, no Lot sizes
Current system behavior-
1. Since we have demand @ Plant, Distribution Demand Planned falling on the same day, Out of the 2000 ATD qty
ØThe system is first satisfying the demand at the Plant
( 2000 demand – Sales Order + FC is satisfied at Plant)
ØThen with the remaining 2000 ATD qty it is generating 2000 Deployment PREQ’s
However if the same situation prevails in day 2, then the system is deploying to the DC first and then satisfying Plants demand
Is this the standard SAP behavior, then
What is the significance of following check Box in Location Product Material Master
1. Demand @ Source Location
-Consider Sales Order
-Consider Forecast
2. SNP Checking Horizon
Our Requirement:
1. Irrespective of Demand and Availability dates at the Plant within the deployment horizon , the system should first satisfy the Distribution Demand Planned and then if any excess supply it should come to the plant satisfy Sales Order first and then Forecast
2. Else, When deployment run happens it should first satisfy the Sales Order Demand at the Plant, go to DC satisfy sales order demand , then satisfy FC in the same order.
Request clarification before answering.
