Staging to production with intermediate storage bins

Hi,

we use advanced production integration based on PMRs in EWM 9.40.

In one of our warehouses a third party system is installed on a production line. Here we would like to implement the following process.

1) A production order will be released and a PMR will be created in EWM. 

2) E.g. 1 or 2 hours before the planned production start, warehouse tasks for staging are created (e.g. by /SCWM/STAGE) to transfer all required components to an intermediate bin in a pallet storage that is inside the production supply area. The destination bin should be proposed by EWM (= empty bin) or it will be confirmed manually by the forklift driver. 

3)  Some time later the production line will be set up for the production order. This is the trigger for the third party system on the production line to send a first warehouse request to EWM to transfer specified components from the intermediate pallet storage to specified storage bins on the production line. 
In the running production the third party system has to create further warehouse requests if e.g. the available quantity of a component falls below a defined value.  

4) The consumption for the components is posted by the third party system during production with function module /SCWM/MFG_CONSUME_ITEMS_EXT. The storage bin on the production line (see step 3) is specified as the goods movement bin for the consumption postings.

The steps 1 and 4 are no problem. But I don´t know how to set up the steps 2 and 3.

Is this process possible in EWM 9.40 in standard?
