SSL integration error with Message Broker - SSL Handshake with failed: SSLRC_CONN_CLOSED -

We are setting up the SSL integration from S/4HANA OP to Message Broker (MB) using the ProAxia connector.

The flow outbound from S4 is getting a handshake error when u do a ping from the Cockpit:

Error Message: Company <NNN>: WebService System Fault: SOAP:1023 SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("SSL handshake with <ABCsid:Portno> failed: SSLRC_CONN_CLOSED..."

<strings> are data removed for security reasons.

Yes the ssl certificate was imiported in STRUST in S4HOP..

My questions:

1. What is causing the above handshake errors when ECC calls /pings the MB ? (the reverse from MB to ECC seems to be fine).

2. What is the best way to create the right SSL certificate file from the Windows MB server ?

3. Should SOAmanager for outbound service settings be different for Authentication Settings ? Should it be the last setting "X.509 Client Certificate" ?

In the meantime, make sure your message broker is rebooted. Does the Ping work ? etc..
