SPPFP transaction is creating duplicate Actions after reprocessing failed PPF.

Hi Everyone,

We are facing a problem or concern when failed PPF action is reprocessed , system is creating duplicate failed action again and again after batch job runs for reprocessing the failed actions.

Question 1 : Is it normal?

Question 2: How can we prevent the duplicate action trigger?

Dear reader, please check the settings in transaction SPPFP. I am assuming that you are using this program to execute the reprocessing of these PPFs. In the transaction, there is an option (radiobutton) where you can mark "non-repeated actions". In case you use this option, the original action will still duplicate (as mentioned in the 'PPF how-to' written by SAP), but your reprocessed PPF actions will be ignored. In case you use this option and reprocess every hour for a month, the total amount of PPFs on one document is still fairly large but it should cause no performance issues.
