Source of Supply not shown on Process Orders

Hi, We are running SNP Heuristics but not PPDS in APO.

We CIF across the PDS and it is visible and valid.

We generate a Planned Order in APO using Heuristics. The Planned Order is created and 'Source of Supply' showing the PDS is displayed in Order Detail.

In ECC we then convert the Planned Order to A Process Order. If we look at the Process Order there is no entry in the Source of Supply field. Clearly the correct recipe and operations are being used because we see the resource if I drill into the activities and operations of the Process Order in APO.

Can anyone advise why Source of supply is not displayed n APO for the Ptocess Order?

Hi Adam - you should need PPDS PDS in the APO for displaying the source of process order. It doesn't matter if you execute PPDS but you can still have the PPDS PDS CIFed across to APO.

Hi,

We do not execute PPDS. Only SNP Heuristics and Deployment. Therefore we CIF over only SNP PDS. Is this the reason? Are you able to CIF over both SNP and PP/DS PDS from ECC even if you are not using PP/DS?
