SOST - sender is userid instead of email address

Hi guys,

i have an issue wherein in SOST, the sender is the userid@domain.com (domain.com is what we have set-up in SCOT).

The problem here is the user wants to send the email using her email address that was in SU01.

Email address was already in SU01.

User is using ME23N to send to vendor and vendor should receive the email but the email sender address is userid@domain.com and recipient cannot identify the sender because of this sender emaill address.

The issue was because SO_KEY is blank in table SOUD for the user. Issue was resolved by following SNOTE 570505 - Correction report for SO_KEY

Hi Philip,

Please check sending user's User Master Record in SU01 for the maintained email address, whether "Do Not Use Communication Number" checkbox is selected by any chance. You can view this by clicking on multiple input arrow that reads "Other E-Mail Addresses" in SU01.
