SNP planning book: unconfirmed quantity consuming the stock.

Hello expert - we are seeing that unconfirmed sales orders from ECC are consuming the forecast in APO SNP planning book. We do not want to set the "fixed date and quantity flag" for the unconfirmed items so they will not generate a requirement and thus they will not be transferred to APO.

Business requirement is to have visibility on both the requested and confirmed dates on the SNP planning book.

Example:

  • initial stock is 100,000 KG.
  • sales order key figure shows 95,000 KG on 24.08.2020 on the SNP planning book for that prod/loc combination.
  • this sales order line consumes 95,000 KG from the stock on hand, and as a result total stock on hand on 24.08.2020 becomes 5000 KG.
  • however, if we right-click on 95,000 entry on 24.08.2020 (MAD for schedule line # 1) for that sales order and display the sales order details, we see that there is no confirmed quantity for the sales order. So, ideally it should not have consumed the stock.
  • for this sales order as order quantity was already displayed under 24.08.2020, it does not show the quantity under 18.09.2020 when it actually confirms the quantity of 95,000 KG.

Is there any way to restrict the consumption for unconfirmed quantity and show an additional column in the view when sales order details are displayed? Thank you!
