simple discontinuation in apo pp/ds - problems with conversion of planned to prod orders

Hi,

we run SCM 7.4 with ECC 6.0. the simple discontinuation is ciffed to APO from ECC, the interchangeability gets created. no issues.

At the moment when a planned order is converted to production order, the conversion fails, when the requirement qty has to be split between old and new component based on stock availability of the "old" component. Meaning, the conversion works when only old component can cover the requirement or when only new component is used. But it does not work when the requirement qty gets split between new and old component when there is no sufficient stock of the old one.

I am not able to find out why the converion fails. I see in the delta report the cif error /SAPAPO/165 - order with ext. order number has a converion indicator in APO but cannot reconcile it.

any idea what could be the reason? I checked the tables in APO, no mismatch, all look good. No hanging queues in both sysmtes SMQ1/SMQ2.

kr,

Wojtek
