Significance of Alternative unit of Measure for Stockkeeping unit in WOCR Item Filters?

Just out of curiosity, I wanted to know what is the Significance of Alternative unit of Measure for Stockkeeping unit in WOCR Filter.

I did some tests and got some results, which I cannot comprehend at all.

1 EA = 1.25 KG and 1 CAR = 20 EA = 25 KG. This is maintained in Material Master as seen:

Example 01: OBD with EA and CAR

Example 02: OBD with only EA

Example 03: OBD with only CAR

RESULTS: For each of the above example, the system unable to fetch WOCR and selects DEF.

We repeat this exercise for WOCR without any Alternative UOM maintained in Item Filter and system is able to select the WOCR I maintained at WPT for all examples abovewocr-item-filter-without-alt-uom.png.
