Hi,
I hope someone can help me with the following issue.
Our standard practice is to manually enter ship-to addresses for sales orders. This process triggers the creation of a new ADRNR, which is then propagated when creating subsequent documents.
Sometimes, after the completion of some deliveries, it may become necessary to modify the ship-to address specified on the order. This adjustment should apply only to outstanding deliveries, still, it's also affecting deliveries that have already been completed, which means we're losing the information about where those shipments actually went.
We're aware of a user exit that allows us to create a new ADRNR for the modification instead of changing the address for the current one. By creating a new ADRNR, we avoid affecting completed deliveries, but it doesn't change pending deliveries, which is a requirement.
Does anyone have experience with a similar issue or know how we can prevent this from happening?
Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
