Set Transportation Unit status default to Active rather than Planned

Hello Experts,

We have an idoc interface between ECC and EWM, where we create Shipment in ECC (Externally Planned in TMS system) first and then we drop into EWM for warehouse processing. However requirement is to drop transportation unit in Active status rather than Planned in SAP EWM.

Is there any standard config or an enhancement spot available to suffice the requirement? I would really appreciate if someone suggest a solution to meet this requirement.

One option is to activate TU with custom PPF action.

You can in this case control development with PPF customizing (e.g. scheduling/execution conditions).

But maybe somebody knows better way to do it 🙂

There is no standard way to have auto active TU. you need to write action or some other way. It has disadvantage active means truck is in yard, parking or somewhere in your area. so you need to consider. if not it will represent in other way.
