Hi - can someone please detail the attribute values A and F for the attribute SERVICELEVELTYPE? I understand A = Available in Full and F = Fill Rate. But I don't get this conceptually from business point of view.
In addition, I would need similar business relevance understanding of the attribute values F, I and D for the attribute SAFETYSTOCKPOLICY. I understand F = FIFO, I = Independent Demand and D = Divide.
Please help me clarify these attribute values.
Thanks,
Regards - Guru

Hi Lakshmipathi - I think I understand the SERVICELEVELTYPE now. For the benefit of others, let me rewrite my understanding:
When you put SERVICELEVELTYPE = A (Available in Full), it means to say in how many periods you were able to fulfill the demand fully. If you have 10 periods with demand of 1000 units in each period and you were able to supply 999 units in each period, it means your service level = 0 as you could never meet the demand fully in any period.
In contrast, if your SERVICELEVELTYPE = F (Fill Rate): let's presume you have one period with 100 units of demand and you were able to supply 99 units. It means your service level = 99% instead of 0% when your SERVICELEVELTYPE = A.
I shall see if someone helps me with SAFETYSTOCKPOLICY while I try exploring that,
Thanks,
