Serialized Returnable Packaging Material Scenario with respect to EWM Outbound.

Hi,

One of my customer requirement Serialized Returnable Packaging Material with Outbound.

Please help me any one done this processes.

I followed below processes

Created Material type: LEIH Returnable packaging.
In Material maintained Serial No. Profile in MM02 and mainatined same in EWM /SCWM/MAT1
Created PO and assigned serial numbers in Delivery.

I followed below blog but this blog without serial number.

I used Material type VERP Packaging for above blog reference but need to use Material type: LEIH Returnable packaging.

If anyone have Idea on Outbound Returnable Packaging with serial no.  process in EWM please help me.

Hi,

I have solved this in WM, but it is likely similar in principle.

Either you add your package items to ODO as normal picking-relevant items. In this case you can enter its S/N's during picking.

If you add package items as non-picking-relevant items to ODO, you have to collect their S/N's other way (e.g. copy from the entered product's serial numbers). S/N profile should define the S/N is obligatory only in material documents. In this case the S/N's have to be entered to the package item in Badi MB_DOCUMENT_BADI, MB_DOCUMENT_BEFORE_UPD.
