Send Work order for pick and packing, some material is not in the warehouse

Hello Folks,

I'm using PM.

I have a work order which i send for picking.
Some of the material is not available in the warehouse.

currently i need to removed the material out of the work order, write myself a note, and later, when the work order is partially performed, i need to add the material back into the work order.

the reason why i am doing this is, because the warehouse would have a picking information about the material which is not available.

Question:
Is there a way, that i can send the work order for picking, and pause that particular material, which i know, which is not availabe?

Hi Fred,

If the material is not available in the warehpouse, then in EWM the warehousetask creation will get failed, but you can still see the overview what all items that are supposed to be planned or part of outbounds.
