SEM-BCS: Update master data directly from infoObject

Hello,

We need to make a change to Consolidation process in BCS.

At the moment, we have severall open hubs which export data from infoObjects like 0PROFIT_CTR and save it to a CSV file in a server.

Them, in BCS process, users update master data through CSV file updated earlier (flexible upload method).

Now, due to SAP licensing policy to open hubs, we need to change this data load mode. Our goal is to load BCS master data directly from SAP BW infoObjects. How can we do this?

We already tried to add infoObjects catalog to basis source and then change upload flexible method but BCS only displays infoProviders characteristics.

We also tried to create a Load from data stream method but BCS only displays infoProviders characteristics also. And we need information like texts and other infoObjects attributes.

The load from datastream should work. It may be that a source databasis is needed for this.

Another option is program UGMDSYNC with the source as BW and the target as BCS. Other similar programs to consider are:

UGMD_BATCH_SYNC

UGMDSY10
