SEM BCS system upgrade from SEM BW 747 SP11 upgraded to SEM BW 748 SP13

Hi Experts.

we would like to move on with the upgrade activities for existing BCS system, i have gone through following SAP note 2410201 and related notes. request your inputs on the upgrade impacts on existing set up. I do not think we expect activating functionalities through this upgrade. However, i am concerned of the COI related update or impacts on the existing set up. please do share your inputs.

Also to detail BW version - from SAP BW 7.4 SP 13 upgraded to SAP BW 7.5 SP 13.

Hi Kamal

As per my knowledge its basically technical upgrade (BW/BI). So technical names would be same and real time Info cube behavior would be convert as ADSO.

You can access and display all cubes and info objects details from eclipse or sap hana studio.

Once upgrade activities would complete, need to check process chain which were connecting to BCS Task execution and other data loads. Test run the all task from monitor would be best.

Let me know if anything mentioned wrongly.

Thanks for the quick response.
BCS monitor tasks and workbench check are listed as part of pre & post upgrade testing.

But we are going for Non-HANA migration. So ADSO will not be there.
