SDP8B Cannot change Planning book Message Authorization to execute versus All Autorizations

Dear gurus

We used to be able to change planning books in production systems tcode /SAPAPO/SDP8B, in example for test purposes; but since some weeks ago we noticed we only can change them in test and development systems, because now in production system, even we do NOT have any authorization problem to run tcode /SAPAPO/SDP8B, we noticed the screen now shows "Authorization to execute" instead All Authorizations we used to see in production before just like we still see it only in test and development systems.

I have been working with security teams and they have not found any problem nor change with our roles and profiles to run this transacction.

Looking forward to hear from you.

Thanks in advance

Freddy

Hello,

Please refer SAP KBA on it 2957420 - No change authorization exists

Check the status of the data view "3 - Changeable" in the tab Data View of the Planning book Wizard then only you will be able to change it other wise initial creator only can change it.

and 1049566 - Creation of the planning book/data view not possible

Thank you rupesh.brahmankar3

I read the KBA and the note, but this is not the issue I am facing, because 1) I do not get message "No change authorization exist..."; and 2) the Data View Status we have #3# (Changeable) unlimited usage, indeed the SDP8B shows "Change by every user" BUT it only shows Authorization to execute, but we need "All authorizations exist".

Do you know hot to get "All authorizations exist" back to transaction SDP8B?

Looking forward to hear from you.

Best regards

Freddy

Hello,

Did you check KBA 1049566 - Creation of the planning book/data view not possible

Check The system change option for the clients in transaction: SCC

In SE06 the SCM component may be defined as NOT MODIFIABLE
