/SCWM/ISU-stock upload-HU update from EWM to S4 (1909)

Hi All,

We are implementing S41909, I have question regarding the stock upload into EWM.

Using /SCWM/ISU, when we do the stock upload- stock is getting updated in EWM (Ex: HU123- Mat1-QTY100)

In S4 also stock getting updated in MMBE

And in MB51 material documents updated.

But only quantity is getting transferred.

HU123 which is generated in EWM is not visible in S4 or HU tables like VEKP/VEPO.

Can someone help, how do we get or copy the HU information to be created or updated to S4 after its created in EWM.

Please letme know if there are any notes available or any configuration with which we can control.

Hi,

if you load the HU into EWM (which is what you do with /SCWM/ISU), the HUs are created in EWM only. ERP tables like VEKP are not populated in that process.

You would have to be able to set your storage location (on ERP-side) to HU mandatory, which is not possible for a storage location that is connected to a decentral warehouse.

I am not 100% sure for a scenario with Embedded EWM, but my guess would be it is the same behaviour as for the side-by-side EWM.

Yes I tried this option of activating the HU requirement at storage location level, I got the same error you mentioned. When the Storage location is relevant for Dectrnal system, HU activation not allowed it seems.

We need to have same HU information both in ERP and EWM as we have STO scenarios.

Hi,

I don't think there is a solution. And I also don't think there is any issue or problem. What do you expect from the ERP to do with the HU information? Why would you have that? If you unpack the HU in EWM - there is no information going back to ERP either. So what would you want to use it for?

No I did not get the solution for this and I am looking for help from this forum.

I tried to post the message in different way, but admin is closing that message considering it as duplicate.
