Scheduling in SAP TM

Hello,

Started learning SAP TM. I could not find examples on how scheduling works in SAP TM. Could not find examples on TKS series on how this actually works and SAP Note 1908165 , I find complex.

Can someone explains how important config in Scheduling effects the outcome by means of an example ?
