SBC in ePPDS with CDP : No Process Selection Criteria popup

Hi Experts,

I’m currently activating aATP SBC along with ePPDS and characteristic dependent planning as documented in this blog post (https://community.sap.com/t5/enterprise-resource-planning-blog-posts-by-sap/sap-s-4hana-aatp-supply-...).

According to the blog post and to some OSS notes I consulted, a popup called “Process Selection Criteria” should appear and ask for characteristics value for the batch determination. This is not happening and I have to manually trigger the batch determination that send me to the “usual old” SD determination screen:

If I modify the selection criteria in this screen, there are correctly taken into account into /SAPAPO/RRP3 to match with the expected batch, but this is not at all practical and this is misleading for users as no batch are selected in the sales order.

Steps already taken:

• I have successfully activated the BC set switch /SAPAPO/APO_ON_ERP_SWITCHED
• Configuration schema is set to CDP in SPRO
• I have created a KMAT material with usual settings (300 class, profile, etc.) and configured a finished material in the plant data of the finished material.
• I have created and assigned a class 023 to the finished material.
• I have assigned organizational area to class and characteristics and created and activated integration models for these classes to create class 400 and 230
• I have set up a checking group with PPAC check type and Supply Creation and assigned it to my finished material master
• I have assigned a batch search strategy to sales order type and maintained required conditions records.

Any idea of why this is not working or where to debug this is welcome 🙂

Answering my own question : notes 2108061 and 3073620 should be used.
