I have a simple scenario in MMP where I want orders with the same characteristic to have max 3 qty / shift.
I set up restriction as 0 hard , in /SAPAPO/RET2.
With a minimum amount of orders (1 qty per planned order) the //SEQ1 interactive optimizer does a good job in sequencing the orders as per the restriction using the standard Slotting Algorithm.
On the other hand, with the same setting, horizon, weighting, time, the profile with the same Slotting Algorithm setup does not sequence the orders in any way.
Why is the difference in this aspect between the two methods in SAP?
- Is there a minimum data need difference?
- is there any difference with global variables using the slotting function in interactive/planning run?
I can see the same FM /SAPAPO/SEQO_QS01_CALL is called with slightly different parameters in is_opthoriz and ls_mmp_params , but those I cannot seem to control, so is there any way I can have the same result in SEQ1 and SEQ2 in a minimum scenario (low data, low complexity of restrictions)?
In this POC the process is SAP standard, not using any custom code.
Thanks
