/SAPAPO/CURTO 851: product does not exist

Hi experts,

we are facing an error after refresh, while transferring PDS data /SAPAPO/CURTO 851: product does not exist is coming up in S4 HANA 1909.

could you please advise what is the issue? Product master is available in /SAPAPO/MAT1.

Any inputs/thoughts

note - 2931409 - Note 2766129: incomplete correction in S/4 HANA 1709 and 1809 says issue for versions 1709 and 1809 only.

Resolution: Look into SAP note 3552200 - Error in PDS transfer via tx CURTOADV_CREATE - Product xy does not exist in SAP S/4HANA ( /SAPAPO/CURTO 851 )

SM59 - Change the RFC settings for Transfer protocol  from "Fast" to "Classic" in Serializer field.

PDS will be transferred successfully into APO

Hi,

This error /SAPAPO/CURTO851 most probably refers to that one of the master data component of the product is not existing. I initially assume the LOGSYS or LOGQS (business system group assignment) got lost during the system refresh.

While in S/4 Hana the SCM master data only exists virtually by ''setting the Advanced Planning flag, it may still be important to have the SPRO -> Basic Settings for Creating the System Landscape settings correctly set up.

Do check the following ABAP table (generated from CDS views) in SE16: /SAPAPO/MATMAP > check the LOGSYS and LOGQS entry for the product.

In short: You may need to ''resend the product'' with the ''advanced planning flag" in the Material master once the LOGSYS and LOGQS are correctly set up.

So the right steps order for product master & PDS setup would be (no CIF):

1. Define BSG (SPRO -> Basic Settings for Creating the System Landscape settings correctly set up.)

2. Create Material Master on Plant > MARA, MARC, /SAPAPO/MATKEY, /SAPAPO/MATMAP entry is created > so the BSG is already important at this level.

3. Set Advance Planning flag in MM02 for the material on plant > /SAPAPO/MATLOC, entry is created and /SAPAPO/MATMOD (automatic 000 model assignment)

4. PDS can be sent over to PP/DS side.

Could you please check once all components of PDS like BOM, WorkCentre, routing are present.
