SAP work manager Security

Dear All,

i needed some basic inf,. on Work Manager Security/Authorizations. i sent through the post at https://answers.sap.com/questions/11481820/sap-work-mgr-authorizations.html

But i cannot understand the way Security is performed in Work Manager .

Could you kindly help me on the same.

FYI,. i have been through the Security guide. But not much inf. is available

I'm not entirely sure what your question is ... the post that you indicated previously is clear.

The way we do it, the authorizations are NOT done in Work Manager. In work manager we control which buttons the user can use and click on, but once the user syncs work manager, the authorization validation is just done in standard SAP.

As the previous post indicates, we have created specific roles for work manager users so that we make sure that they have all of the authorizations that they need.

If - for example- a user doesn't have access to change a PM order (IW32), the user has access to work manager and tries to execute such action, then when the user will be able to execute the change locally in work manager - but when he tries to synch his changes to SAP he will get an error and the order will not be updated in SAP ..
