We've had this issue for a number of years with different versions of SAP WM. Users manually log into the client to access their work and sync, they are using Pansonic Toughbooks - Windows 10 OS.
The SAP account gets locked out though the user knows they are using the correct password to log in. What is happening is any uppercase letters in the password are coming in as a lowercase letter. Only a reset of the client restores the ability to use uppercase letters, then the sync process takes that much longer because it has to download all the data like a new installation.
Has anyone experienced this issue and found a fix?
Much appreciated.

Users are signing into SAP Work Manager directly, there is a Syclo server that sits between the client and the SAP ECC backend server.
The corresponding user accounts are set with Productive passwords in ECC, they are also set up as SSO (SNC) so they access the system directly from the SAP GUI client.
This issue does not happen with all users of SAP Work Manager, and has affected some more than others though they are all set the same way.
We just went through a rollout of new TBKs with SAP WM 6.6, and the issue persists.

I was on an implementation of Work Manager using a Windows Client with dell Thoughbooks on Windows 10 about 4 years ago. I supported it until last year and didn't have this issue at all.
How are you authenticating? Are your users signing in directly with their SAP passwords or do you have some sort of SSO set up?
