Can we install work manager 6.4 on the same
server along with keeping with work manager 6.1. If yes what are the
configpanal configurations and steps involved. If No how to plan work manager
upgrade across Development, Test and Production environment with very minimal
down time?
We are planning for work manager 6.4 upgrade
from 6.1 but we want to keep work manger 6.1 version up and running till the
time we complete all upgrade activity and up on successful merger of custom
changes on the work manager 6.4 and further to verification of all
functionality we will take a call to bring down and delete work manager 6.1
while releasing the work manger 6.4 to end users.
Currently around 700 users are using this work
manager 6.1 and we have 8 branded APK holding assets pertaining to these role
specific APK. Once the work manager 6.4 upgrade completes in production we need
to build 8 new APK in production and then release it to customer. We are trying
to understand what is the best practice approach to do this work manager
upgrade with very minimal production down time.
Can you please help
us along with adequate details and documents on this.
