Dear SAP,
Regarding the Outsourced Planning Process, BN4L enabled the possibility of receiving the freight units from the ordering party and forwarding the same to the forwarder.
Is there a way to visualize the FUs in BN4L - Freight Collaboration ?
Besides that, is there a way to make sure that all FUs were received by the carrier/forwarder ? Can we use the "Message Log" app to check success/failure FU transfer ?
Best regards,
Maher.

Hi
Please check Oss note for compare functionality with our S4 Version 2620322 - Business Network for Logistics: Integration to SAP TM and TM in S/4HANA
External planning is available for road and ocean, at the moment.
After the sales order is created and the freight unit is updated with the purchasing organization in transportation management, the freight unit replication call is triggered. The freight unit replication call will send the xml payload to central freight document and then freight unit is sent to planning party via freight order for confirmation service. The planning party can be determined:
A2A: based on configuration maintained by shipper in the configure partner connections App in SAP Business Network for Logistics
B2B: using the forwarding agent or carrier information that the shipper has specified in the sales order in their transportation management system
At the moment, the definition, who to forward the freight units to is maintained in SAP Business Network for Logistics (in future, this shall be maintained in transportation management). The freight units can only be forwarded to ONE external party.
Please note: In order to stay in the shipper’s range of unique identifiers, document identifiers are being processed in SAP Business Network for Logistics .

Hi Rogerio,
Thanks for your answer.
I can implicitly understand that for this scenario, FUs that are communicated to the forwarding agent or carrier through BN4L, could not be visible in any App in BN4L - Freight Collaboration.
In that case, BN4L will be used as a Tunnel to send FUs from TM in S/4HANA (via interface TransportationOrderGenericRequest_Out) to the forwarding agent and then will receive the confirmed Transportation documents via BN4L based on the interface TransportationOrderGenericRequest_In.
Let me know if my assumptions are correct.
Many thanks,
