Can someone tell me what the future Solution for SAP SNC Responsive Replenishment will be? My understanding is, that SAP SNC will be end of mainstream maintenance by end of 2027. All Supplier Managed Inventory scenarios will be then part of Ariba. But what about the responsive replenishment scenario? Is there a successor with equal functionality? SAP IBP?
Request clarification before answering.
I have no experience using SNC for supplier SMI/VMI integration but as far as I understand RR in SNC I'd say:
(1) IBP Response&Supply covers operational planning of an SMI scenario where a supplier can use the PlannerWorkspace (web access) to plan/replenish products
(2) more simplistic scenarios should be availbale in ARIBA, if you seek for more sophisticated planning functions the go to is IBP R&S.
The IBP Roadmap update from yesterday (25.06.2023) also covered a little bit of this. See the webcast recording and the PDF here (OnDemand). I took a screenshot which shows pretty obvious the IBP+ARIBA process flow SAP is envisioning .
Hope this helps

Thomas
