SAP SEM BCS financial data is appearing in two cons groups after cons group change

Hi,

I urgently need some assistant, please. We have a data issue in our BCS production environment.

We carried out a consolidation group change in our statutory version. The company codes are appearing in both cons groups. However usually the data posted to the company remains in the old cons group. In my case however something has gone askew and now I have PL00 data in both the old and new cons group against a company code? How can that be and how can I fix it? The config is as follows: in period 12/2018 Company A is divested in the old cons group G2420 by setting the year of divestiture to 2018. Then this company is created in the new cons group G2400 and the first period and year is set to 12 2018 with a tick in "First Consolidation at End of Period". We did have an issue with transports being imported in a wrong sequence, which I am guessing caused this issue, but how can I remove the values in the new cons group?

Is my only option to undo the cons group change and once the figures are ok to redo the cons group change?

Any help is hugely appreciated it.

I am not sure if this reply would help you at the moment. But let me try to share my understanding and increase my knowledge.

If my understanding is correct, you are transferring a consolidation unit from one Consolidation Group to another. ( G2420 to G2400). it should be taken as total transfer., but you seems to be doing it Total divestiture and First consolidation. Not sure why.

While doing total transfer with in hierarchy, we must confirm if its horizontal transfer or vertical transfer. accordingly we must modify the consolidation group level values,

In your message above i see that you have maintained 12-2018 in old for divest period and year. In new conso group first cons period and year as 12- 2018. i am guessing it may be vertical upward movement with in consolidation hierarchy.
