SAP Sample Planning Area Copy

Hello All

I am not able to copy from the SAP Sample Planning Area.  The copy button is greyed out to copy the SAP Sample Planning Area. 

When I select "Edit Active and Inactive" drop down under "Planning Area and Details" , I get a message "There is no existing planning area in this system.  You have to create a time profile first and then Click Create New button on the Planning Area and Details screen".

Please do let me know how to copy from the SAP Sample Planning Area.

Which release are you in?

In IBP 6 you can only copy from Standard planning area with the advanced copy.

Simple copy is inteded to copy your own planning areas once you have created your first one

I am using IBP 6 system.  When I select the "Display SAP Sample", the COPY button is still not highlighted.  I am not even able to get to the option to select Simple or Advanced Copy.

Do you have admin authorization?

If yes --> open OSS message. The button should be there

If no --> get it

Hello Krishna

Did you switch to the dropdown 'Display SAP Sample' first and then perform the copy?

After the copy, switch to the copied planning area and assigned an active time profile. Then activate it.

Thanks for the reply.  I did switch the drop dotn to "Display SAP Sample" and was still not able to copy.  The copy button is not active.
