SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud RF Screen menu issue

Hi,

I would like to learn what the following fields on the RF screens mean in the Cloud system.

We can't be sure as most of the current domain names are abbreviated. The F1 help screen does not appear, so we cannot access any information.

If you have any idea/suggestion please let me know. Thank you.

Hello Sercan,

You should be able to just hover your mouse over the field and see a description. If you want a more technical ID, use the method described by Daniil.

Hi Per,

It shows the description of some fields, some doesn't.

Buttons are especially important to us. Many of the buttons exist as abbreviations and do not display descriptions.

Ctrl+shift+F1, and go to screen Painter to see the screen parameters, and you can check- the dynpro and all fields mapping 🙂

but it is much easier if there some information available, like transaction, steps in the process, some data and so on. So go to the transaction, and usually transaction would logically navigate you trough the process.

your screens look like Inventory position creation, in this case it is a stock attributes (stock type, owner, special stock with reference and so on), as well HU creation, packaging material, HU type.

in SE11 you can check full description

Hi,

This method is most likely applicable to the "PRIVATE CLOUD" system. I am currently using the "PUBLIC CLOUD" system and there is no SAP GUI in this system. There are no transaction codes like "SE11."

When I do Ctrl+shift+F1 the following screen comes up and stays here. It doesn't go beyond the "Continue" option.

I hope it works in cloud as well, you can maybe start tcode se80 and check the screen 5010 of the program /scwm/saplrf_inventory (which means function group /SCWM/RF_INVENTORY ). If button "Layout" does not work, you can more or less see from the element list.

and after you can see details in the structure /SCWM/S_RF_INVENTORY_HEAD or / and /SCWM/S_RF_INVENTORY_HU ( tcode se11 ).

Another option would be to check the customizing, there you can find FM /SCWM/RF_HU_IVHU_PAI for your step, and you can see in this case all the parameters of the FM in se37.

One more option would be to use screen personas, there all screen elements should be visible with the references, like for example /SCWM/S_RF_INVENTORY_HU-HUTYP.

Unfortunately inventory screens for stock creation are not so easy understandable ( worst screen in RF in my opinion ) 🙂
