SAP S/4HANA and embedded EWM: Maintaining a warehouse product created a dump

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

I have an issue with SAP S/4HANA with an embedded EWM. I created some products with the transaction /SAPAPO/MAT1. After I created all the relevant products I wanted to create the products as warehouse products by using transaction /SCWM/MAT1. After I inserted the relevant data (product number, warehouse number, party entitled to dispose) I wanted to push the button "create", but then a dump occured:

What happened there respective what is missing for a setting so that I am able to create warehouse products?

Hi Jan,

Can you please check whether plant is maintained while creating BP in vendor general data tab?

Hi,

"I created some products with the transaction /SAPAPO/MAT1."

Why would you do that? With the exception of a transit warehouse, there is never a reason to create a product in this transaction.

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

Hi Juergen,

sorry this was my false. I created the products with TA MM01, not with /SAPAPO/MAT1.

Nevertheless I didn't understand the dump. After I created the products with TA MM01, I have to go to /SCWM/MAT1 to create the warehouse products.

Hi Jan,

You need to choose display BP role as vendor, choose vendor general data tab (Additional general data) you will find an option as plant which needs to maintained. Please check if it is maintained or not.

I had a look into the BP:

In the area "Additional General Data" there is no value maintained under "Plant".

I assume that I have to insert my plant SC01 there.
