Hi Team,
What is the best SAP practice to Implement CCA – Centralized credit control area or Decentralized credit control area? As I can see in the assignment (OB38) we can assign the same credit control area with multiple company codes.
However when it comes to assigning the same credit control area with credit segments, the system is showing an error ‘An entry already exists’ when we assigning more than one credit segment what is the reason? Also we could see in the OVA8 screen - Automatic credit control check the screen we use the combination of 'Credit credit control area + Risk Class + Credit + Document Credit Group'. So still in SAP S/4 HANA we have the credit check control at credit control area level we thought it is at credit segment level. Please advice?
Second Question -
Currently we are proposing in our client to designed – 1 credit control area and 1 LE’s and 1 individual credit segments and 1 default Main credit segment. Should we consider this design knowing the fact that in future they may add a new legal entity and sales area as well?
Third Question -
SAP FSCM - Credit Management on Main credit segment and BP Relationships
Main Credit Segment Purpose - What is the purpose of main credit segment and how it differs from ECC? Is it possible to use the same BP # across different LE’s/ sales area?
If we assign multiple credit segments to the same BP # master data system will identify that this customer is doing business with multiple company codes/ sales areas. Is my understanding correct?
BP Relationship - In BP relationship can we mapped different segment parent to child relationship if yes how?
Fourth Question -
Can we maintain relationships between two BP's i.e. 1 Group and 2 Organization (Subsidiary) with which BP relationship types? Please also let us know if this is the valid scenario - Can we link 1 Group BP with multiple Org BP (Subsidiary) with different credit segments?
Also, for an example – If we have 4 credit segment i.e. AGS, ADG, ACS and ADS in our client and 1 CCA under which segment we create Group BP (Parent)? And if we create 2 Org. BP (Child) in ACS and ADS credit segment how system will perform credit check in this scenario when we create SO?
Fifth Question -
There is a BP under which 3 associates (A,B and C) are there. Associate - A required a material
1. Should Associate - A must be a BP to create a sale order?
a. How will the system perform credit checks and also at which level? It is at BP level or at associate level - (A) and the associate here is not a BP it is a customer in the partner function
2. Is BP essential to perform the credit check in FSCM credit Management?
3. If associate - A failed to pay the due amount in stipulated period what will be the credit impact to the parent BP. When the associate is not a BP and secondly child/ associate is an independent BP (And linked with BP under partner function)
