SAP QM - Result recording - Status

Hello 

I have defined in the inspection procedure the sampling type as fixed sampling. I put in the sample the sample size as 10 and the acceptance number as 2. and in my MIC I have chosen in the control indicators the option single recording. While doing the the result recording. I'm only allowed to enter 8 values and not 10 (as defined in my sampling procedure). I discovered that this might be linked to the status. In the biggenning I have the status 1 and then 2. and maybe to get 10 fields where to enter the values I should have the status 5. Where I can find the link beteween the status and result recording in the configuration ?

I have never heard of status influencing sample size so I tried to replicate your scenario. If I try to record results in QA02 or QE51N transaction, system offers only 8 slots for results recording.

The following message is displayed by SAP.

Try to use  use transaction QE73 - results recording for master inspection characteristic. SAP offers 10 slots for results recording as proposed by sampling procedure.
