SAP Migration - Heterogeneous system copy

We are planning to ERP 6 EHP5 Heterogeneous system copy from Linux, Oracle 11g databases to Win Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2008 R2. Please advice me the available methods to achieve this.

Hi Srinu

You can use the SWPM on both places (Source & target systems) because your are already in ERP6 EHP5

Hi Guys,

My requirement is changed now like - Heterogeneous system copy  SAP BW instance 7.0.


AIX UNIX OS and Oracle 11G to Window server 2008 and SQL 2012.

You can refer the Heterogeneous system copy guide from http://service.sap.com/guidefinder (Select the source system OS / DB & then target same way). On your source you may require to use your old SAPINST method(Without SWPM) and the target system you can use the SWPM.
