Hello gurus,
I'm investigating about IoT Service of SAP ,then I am confused.
If you know someone, please let me know.
SAP seems to have two IoT services.(except Edge)
- SAP Leonardo IoT service
- SAP Cloud Platform Internet of Things Service
And I look at following picture :
https://help.sap.com/doc/PRODUCTION/080fabc6cae6423fb45fca7752adb61e/1909a/en-US/loio0c103efb7ec649d...

)
Looking at avobe picture,the sensor data from the device appears to be received by 'SAP Leonardo IoT service' through 'SAP Cloud Platform Internet of Things Service' .
Does this mean that 'SAP Cloud Platform Internet of Things Service' is essential to use 'SAP Leonardo IoT service'?
Included in the license?
Or is the function of 'SAP Cloud Platform Internet of Things Service' included in 'SAP Leonardo IoT service' ?
Regards,
Jim

Hi Its 2 different licences. (if you don't use CPEA). One per device for the cloud platform internet of things and a set of licences for api calls and storage for Leonardo IoT. You can instead of using SAP's device management use AWS or Azure. Regards, Marcus
