SAP LBN GTT - TM module setup

Hi Team,

We have a customer where we are implementing LBN GTT ( no freight order collaboration ). Right now they do not have TM module implemented and they are in S/4 HANA on-premise, so most probably they will go with embeded TM. They would like to know what components of TM needs to be enabled / configured in order to allow freight order creation within TM. the process would be supplier submits ASN from Ariba business network and comes to S/4 HANA.

thanks for the answer. I know that Tm and BN4L are different products. But for integrating LBN is Basic shipping enough?

Basic Shipping and Supply Chain for Transportation Management (SC for TM). As the name implies, Basic Shipping includes basic transportation functionality, whereas SC for TM includes advanced TM functionality. Basic Shipping functionality is included in the “Digital Core” licensing of S/4HANA which basically means that no additional licensing is required. However, SC for TM is a separately licensed SAP product that does require additional licensing to be purchased.

Are these two separate software components? which one of the above customer should implement?
