Hi All,
Good Morning, Good Afternoon and Good Evening.
I'm new to the system. I hope some gurus and professionals here can help me understand this real life problem.
Warehouse received 100 units of A, and 100 units of B.
Warehouse delivers them to the main store.
After a while,
SAP system shows the store has 34 units of A, and -36 units of B, One positive value and one negative value.
Manual inventory count shows we have 18 units of A and 2 units of B.
Questions:
Is this scenario common in the retail environment?
is there a term that describes the issue described?
generally speaking, what could have possibly caused this discrepancy?
in SAP system, how do I resolve it? how do I balance or avoid negative stocks? how do I change the inventory value?
Thank you so much for your kind help!
Request clarification before answering.
Find root cause of negative stock and if you wish check report LS24. Also can check with MMBE.
Now as needed you can check book inventory and actual physical inventory - now plan for physical inventory process with LI01N,LI02N,LI11N,LI20 and LI21.
