SAP IBP Transport receipts Outbound from IBP to S4

Hello,

When we are sending the Transport receipts from IBP to S4 we generally send information like PRDID,LOCID,LOCFR,SourceID ,Qty to S4 through Web services and the requisitions are created in S4 using BAPI.

Now the question is as per SAP suggested approach how it will be defined whether this Transport Receipts which we are sending from IBP to S4 is STR/PReq/Sub-ConPreq etc. So this determination where does that happen(IBP/S4) and from IBP/S4 end what are the details which are required.

Hi Akhilesh,

The transport receipts are created with a source and destination location in IBP. They can be interfaced to S4 using the BAPI to create purchase requisitions with source of supply assigned to it.

Hi Rohit,

My question was more on below lines.

As a SAP best practice apart from the standard details which are there in Transport receipts planning Levels like QTY, Location ,Location Fr etc do we also need to send some custom details to S4 like PurchOrg, Storage Location etc for S4 to determine the type of requisition.
