SAP IBP: The button for activating the planning area is deactivated.

Hello everyone,

can you please help me?

We've just made the transition from testing to production. In the course of this conversion, I transported the planning area into the production system. Unfortunately, I cannot activate the planning area in the productive system because the activation button is deactivated.

What could this have to do with?

Hi Christopher,

If you have never done activation before in production instance of your IBP then I think this is an Authorization issue.

Check if Model activation role has been assigned to your ID .
